Women and men who have been diagnosed with breast cancer are never alone. In this time of social distancing and isolation, it can feel like we are all alone. But we aren’t. Susan G. Komen offers many resources and help to patients, their families and loved ones who are going through a diagnosis and treatment.
Trained staff at the Susan G. Komen Breast Care Helpline are available to answer questions and help everyone impacted by breast cancer through this difficult time. The staff offers education, psychosocial support and information on where patients and the loved ones can go for additional, local resources.
We know that times are uncertain. Doctors’ appointments may be delayed, annual screenings are likely to be rescheduled, treatment might be impacted, and you have a list of questions. Some of us may be unable to see a health care provider in person.
