National Capital Region Grants

Susan G. Komen^®is pleased to announce the 2017 community grants to reach women who fall through the healthcare gaps in the National Capital Region. Funded programs aim to increase health equity by providing information and resources to low-income, socially or culturally isolated women including racial minorities, immigrants/refugees, women with disabilities, LGBTQ populations, as well as those that are uninsured and underinsured. The Komen-funded programs in the D.C. area strive to improve breast health access and services to women, representing a total in active grant funding of over $1.7 million.
