The Dallas Cowboys are an American football team located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and the team is a member of the Eastern Division of the National Football Conference in the NFL. Established in 1960, the Cowboys have been crowned world champions five times and are the only NFL team to record 20 straight winning seasons. Since 2010, the Cowboys have partnered with Susan G. Komen® to raise awareness for breast cancer among fans, through their annual breast cancer awareness games each October honoring local survivors.
STAR SURVIVORS CONTEST
This October, Komen teamed up with Ford Warriors in Pink and the Dallas Cowboys to honor five breast cancer survivors and one guest each with a Ford “More Good Days” and Dallas Cowboys ultimate fan experience package. Winners received a VIP Cowboys fan experience and attended the Dallas Cowboys’ breast cancer awareness game on Sunday, October 20, 2019.
The five winners were announced in September 2019, and they were Belinda Chavez, Irene Robles, Ragina Ireland, Cindy Couvillion, and Latonya Davis. They were chosen based on their compelling story of strength in the battle against breast cancer, what they have done to take action in the fight against this disease, and their love for the Dallas Cowboys.
