Komen EmpowerED: Northeast Ohio Hope Luncheon
Join Susan G. Komen® Northeast Ohio for an in-person education event designed for anyone impacted by breast cancer – whether you are newly diagnosed, living with metastatic disease, a long-term survivor or a caregiver who wants to learn more. At the 2026 EmpowerED: Northeast Ohio Hope Luncheon, you will learn from trusted experts, connect with others who understand and access valuable resources to help you take charge of your care and well-being. You will receive light breakfast bites, a complimentary lunch and a day filled with mission, education and community. Free parking is available on site. Spots are limited!

Jude’s Story: Building a Breast Cancer Awareness Club at ASU
Lori Pope
When Jude Bayasi wanted to volunteer to support the breast cancer community, he never expected his search would lead him to starting a breast cancer awareness club at Arizona State University (ASU). Inspired by his grandmother’s experience with the disease, Jude connected with Komen and launched the Breast Cancer Hope Initiative, giving fellow students a way to raise awareness, fundraise and take action on campus.
