Hallmark began its partnership with Susan G. Komen in 1999. This partnership is strong and longstanding because of Hallmarks steadfast commitment to supporting breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment programs. The Komen mission is one that Hallmark is committed to supporting because breast cancer affects its customers, as well as the owners and employees of Hallmark Gold Crown® stores located across the country.
PROGRAMS
HALLMARK KEEPSAKE ORNAMENT AND CARDS FOR THE CURE®
Each year, Hallmark designs a new limited edition Hallmark Keepsake Ornament to benefit Komen. Hallmark customers view Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments as more than just a holiday decoration. Each year as customers place their ornaments on their trees, it helps them relive special memories and remember special people and events. From January 1, 2019 – December 31, 2020, Hallmark will donate $2 to Komen for each specially designed keepsake ornament sold. The “Angel of the Harmony” Porcelain Angel is the 2020 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament benefiting Komen.
Also, in 2019-2020, Hallmark has donated $.22 in connection with its Mother’s Day cards supporting Komen regardless of sales. Together with additional special promotions, Hallmark will donate an aggregate guaranteed minimum donation of $45,000.
