Male with Breast Cancer

I’m a male who was diagnosed in Sept. with breast cancer. I’m a male who has klinefelters as well. So as I get older (65) I’m finding that I’m getting ‘female’ ailments, like osteo perosis. I didn’t and still don’t feel any pain or symptoms. I smoked for about 27 years and since I smoked, my doctor wanted me to be checked for lung cancer. So an MRI was ordered. The MRI didn’t find any lung cancer (relief!), but noticed lumps on my left breast.

After I was told that, a mamogram and ultra sound was ordered. Then after those were administered a biopsy was ordered. My primary doctor told me that even if it is cancerous that they can fix it! After the biopsy the doctor told me tha I can tell everyone that smoking saved my life because I never would have checked. However, I did notice that my nipple was inverted and told my doctor, which she said it probably is cancer. So that’s how I was diagnosed.

A couple of days later it was confirmed and yes I do have breast cancer, This Tuesday October 3rd I’m going to have a mastectomy and get my breast removed.
I forgot to tell you that exactly one year ago to the day I had may Aortic Valve replaced. I survived that with flying colors and I’m sure I’ll be fine with this as well! It’ just a little scayr not knowing!
