My name is Monica McMillan. I was diagnosed in December 2017 with stage 3 breast “C”. I had 3 strands and one was HER2. I did my treatments at Duke Cancer Center. I started my major chemotherapy treatments in February 6, 2018 to May 22, 2018. I did my lumpectomy on June 19, 2018. Continued Chemo for Herceptin and Perjeta until January 29, 2019. I also did radiation therapy from July 30th to September 11th. I am blessed to have such an amazing support system from family, friends, coworkers and my. Church family plus the amazing Duke team. Most importantly God.
