In September of 2019 I was diagnosed with Invasive ductal carcinoma in my right breast and nipple. They believed there was a strong chance it, would go to my left also. I was only 26. I have 2 kids, I was a caretaker, my boyfriend was running his cleaning business, and it felt like my life was over.

I ended up having a double mastectomy and one lumpectomy. I needed 6 rounds of Taxotere, paraplation and herceptin. I needed 11 herceptin treatments after that. I have to do hormone treatments for 5 years. I only have 9 rounds left of herceptin and 1 surgery to go.

If I could tell anyone going through this, never give up. It doesn’t matter what you go through or even how many tears you cried. The only important thing is that you survive!
