My Sister Debi

I just wanted to take this time to tell the story of my sister Debi. She was a kind and loving person who was always the glue that held our family together. She was always supportive and a role model to her entire family. Nineteen years ago she was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer and was able to have a bone marrow transplant. She was married and had two small children so she fought hard. She fought long and hard through all of her struggles for 19 years and you would never hear her complain or feel sorry for herself. Every year she would sponsor a team for the Hartford Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure called the “Pratt Bratts” Sadly, this was her last year. It breaks my heart to say that she passed away on October 24th amongst family and friends. Daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend. We will always miss her dearly. She asked that donations be made in her name to the Susan G. Komen cause in hopes for a cure. Please keep up the good fight for our Debi and all that have been touched by Breast Cancer.
