My name is Lanesha Ors-Smith and I am a survivor or stage 3 triple negative breast cancer. I was diagnosed 06/04/15 at only 30 years old. I had to do 5 months of chemotherapy which included 4 different types of chemo drugs. I am currently still going through the reconstruction process after having double mastectomy surgery 01/05/16. I must say this has been one of the most challenging situations I have ever had to go through in my life and I am thankful to have made it his far. Going through this process really messed up my confidence as a woman with the hair falling out and of course my breasts. But I have learned that I am beautiful no matter what and your hair will grow back and you will get new breasts. When going through something like this family and friends are very important to your recovery because they really helped me get through a lot of days when I just wanted to give up.
