Strong

At the age of 30 I was diagnosed with stage 3 B breast cancer. It was a hard blow, I cried but I never got depressed or asked God “why me?”. I became a stronger woman. I always thought of my children and that everything was going to be fine. I had 16 chemotherapies, 30 radiations and a left breast mastectomy. I haven’t had breast reconstruction yet but I feel happy and proud with my scars. I have been cancer free for 7 months and for me it is something wonderful. It is as if God gave me a second chance at life.
