Breast cancer survivor

4/06/03 I was DX with breast cancer . Found on a mammogram. It was 1-1/2 cc. Medium to aggressive. It wasn’t given a number then. Four lymph nodes were clean. . I had 4 chemos, 35 radiations and 5 year cancer medicine. Very grateful. A year ago in January I had precancerous cells taken out twice in my other breast. Five more radiations. My Dr told me her father took care of me 19 years earlier. They had a picture of me from then. My daughter and I were negative for Brak 1 and 2 gene

Last year I had a biopsy done and they found uterus cancer. I had a full hysterectomy and three radiations. Got to hit the gong. Now I have to put a tube in so I don’t get scar tissue

My blood was recently tested and thank goodness my cancers are not hereditary. I have two kids and three grandchildren, two granddaughters. My daughter has been my rock through everything. I am very lucky

My motto is enjoy life, take it day by day and never give up

Proud of all my pink sisters and blue brothers. Never give up
