I am 34 years old, I went to the doctor for a mass that I felt in one of my breasts, there is no history of cancer in my family, I never imagined that it would turn out to be an invasive ductal carcinoma grade 2, a 10 months later im working in my breast reconstruction , they did another test and after a biopsy on august 19 turn out that I had cancer in my other breast the same type but grade 1. I am still in full learning all this process, with many uncertainties of what will come, but hopeful that God has bigger plans. No matter your age or how small the wait for the diagnosis is, it can fill you with a lot of anxiety and concern about all the possibilities, on my part I always hope for the best with my faith in God, my faith, my children and my mother have me helped a lot to keep me in good spirits and strength throughout this process. This has made me see that there are no exceptions, anyone can go through this, whether you take care of yourself or not, and you must take advantage of life and do what makes you happy, while you have the opportunity.
