I was 16 years old when I got the most devastating news. I couldn’t understand. I have never been more afraid in my life. I was angry kept wondering why. This was my second cancer diagnosis. I was also diagnosed with neuroblastoma lung cancer when I was 6 months old. I didn’t want to think about losing my breasts but that was my reality. So after all the pitiful thoughts I put on my big-girl pants and I started my fight. My parents were strong and relentless. They made sure that I recived the best treatment there was available. I went to her the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Dr. Audrey Evans was my angel. She was even more relentless she made sure that I got the best treatment also and without her I wouldn’t be here today. Now I’m 33 years old cancer free. I have a wonderful husband and three beautiful children I couldn’t ask for more… I got a lot of fight left in me. 💘😍
