Lexi found a lump in her breast in April 2025. When she reached out to her gynecologist, she was told it’s probably nothing and she was far too young for it to be breast cancer. Lexi told her doctor that she had a gut feeling it was something more. Luckily, her doctor agreed to order a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound. Because Lexi’s breasts are dense, the results were inconclusive, so she was sent for a biopsy.
Two months later, Lexi received a call at work: she had stage 1 breast cancer. “That kind of flipped my whole world upside down,” Lexi said. “I couldn’t wrap my head around my diagnosis, because I felt super healthy. I worked out all the time. I ate healthy. But I got lucky catching it as early as I did.”
I'm very happy with my results and just had to be patient and trust that it would work out.
