At 48, I watched as her world fell apart. Diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer and her husband’s foot out the door as he called her a liar. 6 years later it metastasized and I joined her in this little geneticly screwed up club… Mother and daughter bonding over a chemo cocktail. I only had 2 years with her after that. My stage 3 cancer has been gone for 5 years now and she has been gone for 3. I miss my Mama every single day.
