My mom was a loving, passionate, generous, and dedicated person. She was everything I wanted to be. Her words healed, but her wound didn’t. I accompanied my mom to every chemotherapy, with a smile, not truly knowing what was to come. I was only 11 when it all happened. My mother passed away September 7, 2014. For the past 5 years I’ve been living with my extraordinary aunt who took me in. It has been hard to let go of the world’s greatest blessing, yet still I am here accomplishing my goals in life not only for me but for my mom. Everything I do now has a purpose. 16 going onto 17, I have learned to always spend time with your loved ones before it’s too late. This is for you mom, I love you eternally.
