WINNING WOUNDED

I was diagnosed with Invasive ductal carcinoma in my right breast in March, 2022 at the age of 55. I was devastated. Though breast cancer runs in my family, you never imagine it could also happen to you. I was diagnosed with Stage 1A HER2+ (ER+/PR-) Breast Cancer with a mass in my right breast and 2 HIGH-RISK masses in my left breast. I was also tested for BRCA gene due to strong family history and it came back negative.

I’ve had a lumpectomy in both breasts, 6 cycles of chemotherapy, 11 infusions and 26 cycles of radiation. I loss all my hair and had numerous reactions to treatments. I would have NEVER made it through with my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ!!!

This diagnosis has taught me alot about myself and showed those around my strength.

I’m current taking Letrozole daily and Zometa injections twice a year.

I am living life to the fullest and WINNING WOUNDED.
