Changes

Everything changes… but cancer cannot steal my soul.

Those words that my radiologist MD stated… “I’ve been doing this along time and I believe that you have breast cancer”…… I was numb, my husband was shocked, and in a moment, our lives changed.
Tests, double mastectomy, several surgical complications requiring more surgeries, treatments, and pain all the time.
Due to complications, I couldn’t have reconstructive surgery…. So I’m reminded constantly of what cancer stole from me.
Yet, after all of the physical and emotional damage…
My spirit still remains.
Cancer cannot change my soul !!!
