Our mom, Lidia Pellegrin, battled breast cancer for 8 years. May 11th marks her 2 year anniversary of her passing. She never missed her yearly check up. She was healthy and had no family history of breast cancer. She was diagnosed at age 56. She would receive chemo and be at work the next day. That is who she was; a fighter and work was her therapy. Today, we honor her and thank her for fighting for so many years. Early detection allowed her to fight 8 years. She never missed an appointment and she always stayed positive. She is what keeps us together as we adjust to life without her. We love you and miss you with all our hearts mom.
