We are excited to introduce you to the Susan G. Komen Worship in Pink program in New Jersey sponsored by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. This nationwide program is a unique way to engage your faith-based community in the fight against breast cancer. Worship in Pink is a year-round volunteer-driven breast health educational program powered by local faith-based communities like yours! Ambassadors are trained to coordinate or lead activities to promote the importance of taking control of your breast health and accessing resources and support services from Komen’s Patient Care Center.

Julie’s Story: When Breast Cancer Isn’t a Surprise
Julie has always been vigilant about her health due to her family’s history with breast cancer. Her own diagnosis came in July 2023, when routine mammograms revealed stage 1 invasive ductal carcinoma. While navigating her diagnosis, Julie was committed to supporting the breast cancer community.
