I have been through breast cancer 3 times. I should say diagnosed with cancer 3 times, my cancer moved around after I had both breast removed. It moved to my collarbone the second time it came back, that meant another round of chemo and radiation and I was taking Taxol and Taxotere, two bad chemo drugs, and then radiation.

I was taking high doses of chemo because I had a 50/50 chance of making it and I told my doctor I had a daughter to raise, so I had to stay alive to raise her because I was all she had. I was taking treatment watching my father die of asbestos cancer and trying to take care of him because my mother was already dead and fighting my own battle.

But with the help of the Lord, I made it through, I lost my father and raise my daughter whom is now 48 years old. I got to watch her do everything, marry, divorce, graduate college and about to remarry, so I’m one happy mother. I do have a lot of health issues due to the chemo drugs, but I’m ok with that. I just keep right on keeping on, I have my good days and I have my bad days and I take what I can get.
