Bank of America is a Proud Komen Supporter

Since 2009, Bank of America has been a proud partner of Susan G. Komen®, serving as the National Presenting Sponsor of the Komen 3-Day, Race for the Cure and MORE THANK PINK Walk events in the U.S. They also support Komen through their Pink Ribbon Banking Affinity products, which have raised more than $14 million to date.

Jodie Hardman, senior vice president and market executive at Bank of America, has worked for the company for more than 30 years and has seen firsthand the importance of supporting Komen. She recently attended a MORE THAN PINK Walk with her daughter, Anderson.

“The statistic is that 1 in 8 women will get breast cancer. At work, on my team there are 10 women, three of whom are breast cancer survivors,” Jodie said. “That’s a frightening statistic, but also inspiring because they are survivors. Coming together and knowing we can make a difference if we invest or donate or walk or bring awareness, that’s why this partnership is important.”
