In this episode of Inside MBC, patients explore the complex emotions surrounding clinical trials for MBC. From the difficult decision of whether to participate, to managing the unknowns of side effects and outcomes, patients share what it’s like to weigh personal risks against potential benefits. At the heart of it all is hope – hope for new treatment options, extended time, enhanced quality of life and progress that could help others in the future.

- March 5, 2026 – Health Equity Revolution Summit
The 2026 Health Equity Revolution Summit brings together leaders across public health, policy, technology and community care to confront the barriers that keep patients from equitable access, whether rooted in identity, geography, insurance or emerging systems like AI and genomics. Together, participants will examine how shifting Medicaid landscapes, technological advancements and cross-sector partnerships determine who falls through the cracks, and what it will take to close those gaps. Attendees will leave with actionable frameworks, shared insights and clear pathways to engage in ongoing work that drives sustainable, systems-level change in access for every patient.

In partnership with CURE, join this event in-person or virtually to gain clear, practical insights on breast cancer care while connecting with a supportive community.
- March 9, 2026, 1 pm CT: MBC Impact Series: Ask a Naturopath: Side Effects Management
Join us to hear from Naturopaths Dr. Jenna Bailey and Dr. Erica Joseph as they answer your questions about managing side effects and quality of life while living with MBC.
- March 24, 2026, 5:30-8 pm: Educated Patient® Updates in Metastatic Breast Cancer in Atlanta, GA
In partnership with CURE, in this in-person discussion, we will dive into metastatic breast cancer (ER+ and HER2-) insights, including initial and subsequent treatments, understanding biomarkers, and reviewing an example treatment strategy. Don’t miss this chance to engage with experts in Atlanta, GA! This event welcomes nurses, patients, survivors, and caregivers.
- March 31, 2026, 1 pm CT – Breast Cancer Breakthroughs Episode 20: What’s New for Metastatic TNBC?
In this episode of Breast Cancer Breakthroughs, Komen Scientific Advisory Board member Lisa Newman, M.D., M.P.H., former Komen grantee, Aditya Bardia, M.D., M.P.H., and medical oncologist Sarah Sammons, M.D., will provide an overview of treatment progress, discuss some of the areas of unmet need and tell us where treatment is headed for those living with metastatic TNBC.
- May 27, 2026, 1 pm – 2:30 pm CT: Komen EmpowerED: Menopause + Breast Cancer
Join Susan G. Komen® for a virtual Komen EmpowerED: Education After Diagnosis event designed for women diagnosed with breast cancer who are navigating menopause. Our audience will hear experts explain which breast cancer therapies can trigger menopause, how and why this happens, and how hormone replacement therapy (HRT) may help. The program will also review recent changes to FDA black box warnings for HRT and what they mean for breast cancer patients. For women who cannot use HRT, alternative and complementary approaches to managing menopausal symptoms will be discussed. The session concludes with a personal testimonial from someone living with breast cancer who experienced early menopause and shares practical insights from her journey.
