In this episode of Inside MBC, patients explore the complex emotions surrounding clinical trials for MBC. From the difficult decision of whether to participate, to managing the unknowns of side effects and outcomes, patients share what it’s like to weigh personal risks against potential benefits. At the heart of it all is hope – hope for new treatment options, extended time, enhanced quality of life and progress that could help others in the future.

  • February 12, 2026 – Breast Cancer Breakthroughs Episode 19: Highlights from SABCS 2025
    In this episode of Breast Cancer Breakthroughs, we’ll hear from Komen Scientific Advisory Board member Ben Ho Park, M.D., Ph.D., Komen Scholar, Reshma Jagsi, M.D., D.Phil., and Komen Scholar Susan Domchek, M.D., along with Patient Advocate Jane Perlmutter as they discuss some of what was presented at SABCS and why it matters for individuals with breast cancer.

  • February 20, 2026 – MBCIS: Ask the Oncologist – Bone Mets
    Join us for a Q&A with Dr. Adam Brufsky from University of Pittsburgh to ask your questions about treating and coping with bone mets.

  • March 5, 2026 – Health Equity Revolution Summit
    The 2026 Health Equity Revolution Summit brings together leaders across public health, policy, technology and community care to confront the barriers that keep patients from equitable access, whether rooted in identity, geography, insurance or emerging systems like AI and genomics. Together, participants will examine how shifting Medicaid landscapes, technological advancements and cross-sector partnerships determine who falls through the cracks, and what it will take to close those gaps. Attendees will leave with actionable frameworks, shared insights and clear pathways to engage in ongoing work that drives sustainable, systems-level change in access for every patient.

Komen ASCO Quality Improvement Project

We are proud to partner with the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) to invite breast care teams to join a one-day, hands-on workshop that strengthens quality improvement (QI) in oncology practices that translate into better systems and better outcomes for patients. You’ll gain:
