VIEW OUR MOST RECENT EVENT RECORDING:

In this recap of our virtual Komen EmpowerED: Education After Diagnosis event, you’ll get information designed for women diagnosed with breast cancer who are also navigating menopause. Hear from leading experts from the University of Illinois Chicago, including Dr. Makeba Williams, Dr. Pauline Maki and Dr. V.K. Gadi, who will explain which breast cancer therapies can trigger menopause, how and why this happens, and how hormone replacement therapy (HRT) may help. The below video incorporates the patient perspective throughout by including panelist Gaby Natale, founder of Menopausia.com and breast cancer survivor who experienced early menopause and shares practical insights from her journey.

    Join us to hear from Dr. Ana Garrido-Castro from Dana-Farber Cancer Institute as she speaks on the current treatments and recent research for mTNBC.ent to driving meaningful and impactful policy change.
  • June 22, 2026 at 1 p.m. CT – MBC Impact Series: Updates to Imaging for MBC
    Join us to hear from Dr. David Mankoff to learn about updated imaging practices for ER+ MBC and new data from a national clinical trial on FDG PET/CT for bone metastases and how this could impact patients.

  • April and May: Educated Patient® Updates
    From Tennessee to Houston, in partnership with CURE, don’t miss the chance to join these event in-person to gain clear, practical insights on breast cancer care while connecting with a supportive community.

  • Ongoing – ShareForCures Information Sessions
    Join our ShareForCures info sessions to learn more about how easily sharing your health data can contribute in groundbreaking research advancements. Sessions are held on the second Thursday of the month at 12 p.m. CT. Learn more and sign up:

Komen ASCO Quality Improvement Project

We are proud to partner with the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) to invite breast care teams to join a one-day, hands-on workshop that strengthens quality improvement (QI) in oncology practices that translate into better systems and better outcomes for patients. You’ll gain:
