Karen Sock Thought She Had Put Breast Cancer Behind Her

Karen Sock went through treatment for early stage breast cancer in 2011. After surgery and 33 rounds of radiation, there were no longer signs of breast cancer in her body.

Karen went on about her life and didn’t think much about her cancer. After all, an Oncotype test determined the chances of her breast cancer returning were low.

But in 2015, Karen found the opposite to be true. Her breast cancer had recurred and spread beyond her breasts.

Karen shares her entire story on Susan G. Komen’s podcast, Real Pink.
