At the 2026 Susan G. Komen Boston 3-Day^®, Laura P. was honored with the Milestone Award, recognizing her extraordinary contributions to the Pink Bubble community. 

The Milestone Award celebrates participants who raise game-changing funds and exemplify extraordinary commitment. Laura has walked in six 3-Days since 2021, including Boston, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver and San Diego — and raised an incredible $290, 204 to help end breast cancer. 

Laura received her award during the Boston 3-Day’s Top Fundraiser Showcase Showdown, where her lifelong friend of more than 35 years, Mary Ann I., shared heartfelt remarks about Laura’s dedication. 

 “What Laura tackles she conquers, and she does it with grace and humility. Laura has been dedicated to supporting breast cancer research since her mom was diagnosed almost 18 years ago, and she’s been walking ever since,” Mary Ann said. 

Laura’s 3-Day journey has been inspirational to many people around her. 

“Laura is always happy to help others and is an amazing friend to all,” Mary Ann added. “I admire Laura’s commitment to this cause and the strength she shows in good times and bad.” 

Laura brings courage, grit and grace to every mile, walking for the many people impacted by breast cancer who benefit from her commitment to the 3-Day.
