At the 2026 Susan G. Komen Dallas/Fort Worth 3-Day^®, Glen D. was honored with the Milestone Award, recognizing his extraordinary contributions to the Pink Bubble community. 

The Milestone Award celebrates participants who raise game-changing funds and exemplify commitment. Since 2005, Glen has walked in an incredible 59 events and raised nearly $162,000 in the fight against breast cancer.  

Glen received his award during the Dallas/Fort Worth 3-Day’s Top Fundraiser Showcase Showdown. His friend, Jim H., spoke about when the two met in 2012 and explained what makes Glen so deserving. 

“I was fortunate to walk with Glen in four cities that year, watching him grow in the 3-Day mission as he encouraged others through difficult stretches, listened to their stories and shared his own,” Jim said.” If someone needed help, Glen took the time to assist.” 

In addition to his years as a dedicated walker and fundraiser, Glen has helped shape the future of the 3-Day experience through his service on the event’s Advisory Council.  

“Glen brings courage, grit and grace to every mile, walking for the countless individuals who benefit from his dedication,” Coach Susan said. “Thank you for everything you’ve brought to the 3-Day.”
